Columbus is in on AA we’d have no need for Kerfoot. Also Columbus shouldn’t be trading their 2020 1st.

If the Leafs sell it won't be a major one. It'll be guys that are expiring deals. Kerfoot won't go, Kapanen won't go, etc.

The biggest deal they've been rumoured to be in on is moving Barrie for a pick and a prospect then flipping parts of that with maybe a Kapanen for a better d-man. But they won't sell off majorly

Have you not seen some of these deals flying out of the door today? It's clearly a sellers market at TDL time, always is. Leafs should jump, especially now that Trocheck, a 2C with term got moved. Value is there and more known.

Just comp deals, not saying they will or will not, but they should.

They should sell key guys that are under team control? .. doesn't sound too smart

Even with how things are going, Kapanen is not worth a first AND Harley. not a chance

DAL trade is absolutely laughable... Equivalent of almost 3 firsts for a freaking third liner... Get real.

The fact that the Leafs get consistently embarrassed on the ice means that in order for this team to right the ship, they will need to sell "key guys that are under team control". With the cap as tight as it is next year, something is going to have to give because clearly this group is not getting the job done, not even remotely so.

you don't sell guys like that at the deadline. It de-values them. They'll still wanna stay in the fight for a playoff spot to not send the wrong message to their fans. When guys with significant team control and value get traded, its generally at the draft or in the off-season because then every team can be in on them and not just a select few. It raises the value.
