It's certainly an odd move. Maybe designed to open up a little cap room for something more? I cant imagine Sweeney did this for more 3rd and 4th line depth

I do want Sweeney to do more. But Heinen was no better. So you get a guy whose a little tougher. Equal production for half the salary cap. It will free up some cap space. Let’s hope their is a reason behind it.
