What don’t you like about the trades, and what would you have done differently. I like that the Penguins have scoring depth. Three lines that can score.

our only need was removing jack johnson, it didnt happen. one defender gets injured again and that means hes back in the top 4. its pretty much guaranteed to happen - so we're doomed.

also i dont mind the trades - they're just weird.

Pens have more forwards but i don't think the quality went up. Kahun is better than both forwards acquired. There wasn't any defensive depth added at least not reported yet and the Pens didn't add any size(as of yet). Also no faceoff improvement
I was hoping for maybe a Marcus Foligno or if getting someone from Buf Zemgus Girgenons. Bigger forwards who can skate forecheck and hit.

Jack Johnson has been our #2 defenseman for the last 3 months and we are two points out of first place in our division. So tired of this constant argument.

Nobody wants Johnson. It would take the Penguins a sweeter like a pick or a prospect for a team to agree to take Johnson. The Penguins need an asset coming back. Better to use a pick or prospect (both) and add to the roster and challenge to the cup.

i just meant adding someone to replace him, he can stay on the roster - just dont want him on the ice ever again.

Yet he's been playing at a well below average level if not sub replacement level in both ends of the ice...
