Rumors that we were in for Anderson but couldn't agree in time.

I'm okay with that. He's been having a down year and apparently CBJ was asking for quite a bit.

For two out-the-door forwards and a fifth we got Simmonds and Kahun? **** yeah sign me up! Didn't mortgage any futures and we do get better. Both players have about 45-50 pts combined, whereas Sheary and Erod have, what? 28?

Yeah sign me up.

But hes not a center and this leaves Johansson as the 2c still which hasnt worked for him.

He can play, I don't think he should be counted on it though.

Anyway sometimes the trades just aren't there man. As much as I love the Trocheck trade for CAR, that would've been brutal for us.

who would you have gotten then? Paguea was the only true center I can recall and he cost a 1st 2nd and 3rd plus an extension.

I think Staal would have been a viable option. Hes getting older on a rebuilding team. Worth a shot.

Yeah I am sure a lot of teams want Staal for a cup run doesn't mean he was available or that he wants to leave MIN.
