How effective has he been this year? This is still a good price for depth Defence regardless.

This is a great signing for Vegas. He has played well all year and we were able to save money on him on a multiyear deal. Gives more cap for the offseason.

Perfect contract for a decent bottom pairing guy. I still remember the days when NYR fans were convinced he was one of the worst dmen in the league...
