I can't see Sakic giving up those players. If instead Donskoi and Compher replace them with Jost...Maybe

I can easily see him giving up those players. Compher's a little overrated, but serviceable as a 3C. Cole is getting older. Kamenev needs more opportunity. I do like Donskoi though. Not saying this trade makes sense though. Avs aren't giving up much and are getting two top-4 defensemen back, so...yeah.

Yeah, dude, because the Avs are the ones getting sonically screwed here.

Good grief. Sakic would run naked and on fire to St. Louis to make this deal.
