This is not all about the deadline. It’s a shame that Bowman and the front office keep lying to fans suggesting this team is a contender for the playoffs or the cup. Such a shame. The Hawks are really not that bad but I don’t trust these two to push them in the right direction.

Has Smith been that bad? He was bad also the last 2 seasons before he got traded to Chicago

Kane wants nothing to do with Buffalo. He sold his house there and there is a quote about him saying he no longer has ties to Buffalo and doesn't go back except when they play the Sabres

Yeah, after the 2015 off-season, Kane is NEVER setting foot back in Buffalo again. Nor should he.
