I’m pretty sure Theodore didn’t have to be protected. He was traded so VGK took on Stoner’s contract. Vatanen or Manson would have been picked not Fowler. Also Montour, Shore and Sherwood aren’t good.

You may be correct, but it looks like they made the wrong decision in hind sight.

With some adjustments this could be right. I think we should have sent Montour over Theodore to Vegas. Someone had to go to move stoner. They believed Montour had more upside. I also think the Vatanen deal makes a lot of sense. Without him we are really weak in the middle.
