Think Dermott and Ceci should be in lineup ahead of Liljegren. Not really sure about Malgin at this point.

Liljegren can't even get in with Rielly and Ceci hurt, and you expect him in over Dermott?!?

Liljegren is certainly not ahead of Dermott and really shouldn't be ahead of Ceci.

Ceci is a fine defenseman when playing at his level (3rd pairing). He is just a terrible 1 RD

Nylander is a RW or C. He isn't a LW. Spezza does not have it in him to play 2nd line at this point in his career.

I'd love to see Mikheyev back but I doubt it

Campbell over Andersen has to be a joke, no?

They have a decent shot because of the way the league is set up. One of Florida or Toronto has to make it.

To be fair while there is a good chance whichever Toronto/Florida makes it will be like 10th in the east they still may be 15th in the league. The Leafs are tied with Vancouver (Van with two games in hand) if they were in the Pacific.

The metro and central teams are getting screwed this year.

I'm also unsure of Malgin so far. Getting decent reviews from people who break down film so hopeful. I've watched too much Ceci living in the Ottawa Valley. He's not ahl calibre unless killing penalties. Dermott usually I love, but not playing great this year. Apparently Keefe is going to give the rookies more ice time down the stretch and see. Will be interesting for sure.

Lol. They're in a playoff spot right now and only have to worry about Florida behind them catching up. Florida just traded their 2C for a bunch of nothing and did nothing else.. there's no guarantee they make it but I believe the number was somewhere around 58% before the deadline. Now with Florida weakening their team that doesn't hurt their odds at all.

Stupid trolls. Lmao.

1-Nylander has been playing LW for like a month.
2-Ceci not AHL calibre unless killing penalties. Idk how anybody has ever given him a multi year contract.
3-Mikheyev already back practicing with real pucks. Not unreasonable. Plus, again...I'm making the assumption here.
4- no joke. Campbell has been fine. Andersen had been an 880 goalie if ignore a half dozen games in November. He lets up at least 1 brutal goal per game.

Plus, in addition to your points...they're actually in a playoff spot right now. By points and point %.

Agree they’re not likely moving Spezza up to the second line but if you haven’t noticed, Keefe moved Nylander to his off wing at least a month ago so he’s probably lining him up on left wing because that’s where Keefe has had him

And Nylander asked to play LW. That was his position until came to NHL.

Way to not understand the word "assumes". Go to a dictionary, start at Ass and stop if you get to troll. Ignored and reported.

Well it definitely wasn’t ignored!

Didn’t hear he actually asked to move to his off wing but playing him there makes sense. He played centre prior to being drafted though

He played centre and LW. LW was his preferred position.
