Jumbo Retires

Created by: Waffelz
Team: 2020-21 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 24, 2020
Published: Feb. 24, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Minor moves hopefully give a bit of a new look to the roster. Assumes a 1m addition to the Salary cap and what I think are fairly realistic salary expectations. Goaltending will continue to be an issue, but I just don't think buying out Jones is an option. If you shell out the money for a top tier UFA option you're blowing big money where the rest of your roster still needs help. Some part of the roster has to struggle, and we have to hope Aaron Dell keeps playing well, or Jones finds some form. Defense actually looks pretty solid, but definitely lacking in scoring depth. The Sharks aren't in a great spot, and they aren't going to come.out looking flawless next year. Some of the AHL guys have looked okay over the last dozen games, so give them a shot. This seems realistic.

Jumbo isn't going to retire. Didn't he just say a while ago he has plenty of gas left in the tank.

He'll play another year and DW will say yes daddy

Traded again? He was never traded before. He comes back because SJ is his home. Pretty obvious

That works out fine too. Just send Alex True back down to the AHL, put Gambrell on the 4yh line, and that opens a space for him if he decides he wants to play.

Lol he was traded to Carolina from the Leafs, after he signed with the leafs leaving the sharks. They then brought him back in. And now they traded him again.
@Waffelz

Sorry guys, facts dont lie...

Point is, he left them once, got traded, came back, and got traded away. He isnt gonna just come back again

Facts: Marleau and his family live in San Jose. Marleaus wife is from San Jose. Marleaus kids like growing up in San Jose. Marleaus family is staying in San Jose.

They traded him cause he wanted to play for a contender, not cause the sharks didn’t want him. You are incorrect. Sorry, facts don’t lie.

Lol yeah he might retire and live in San Jose, but like YOU SAID, he wants to win a cup. So unless he wins a cup in Pit (which he wont), he is not going to play for the sharks again.

Only way to solve this. Let’s meet here July 1st and if I am right (I am very likely right) you have to tell me I was correct and apologize for being rude. If you were right I will say you were right and make a post singing your praises. Alright good it’s settled then bye!

I mean if your right ill let you know your right obviously lol, but I havent been rude so I will have no reason to appologize for that. You started with the aggressive"pretty obvious". So sure we can come back here in July, but yeah there is no reason for me to appologize lol
