Only Ottawa does this, and only if it's for their second pick. No other team gives up a chance at a franchise player (think Elias Pettersson) for three first-class assets.

Yeah possibly. I almost think it’s more likely that OTT trades up, since they already have 7(?) picks in the first 2 rounds. Like do they really expect to have roster spots for all 7 of those picks in the next 3-5 years? On top of the great prospects they already have and will continue to draft
