Nashville says yes, as it solves their goaltending issue and gets some scoring from Marner.

Toronto says no, as now they have to get a starting goalie and would not want to retain salary as they need the cap space. That said, that trade would add grit (Watson), good defender (Ellis) and a solid backup (Saros)
