Heinen was a good pickup. This team on paper looks better than the bottom 5 teams lol

I'm excited to see Milano get time with Rakell and Getz, and top PP time

Can prove he was misused in Columbus early

I want to see Heinen and Jones swap lines personally

Rakell on the RW sucks. Love the 3rd line. I've enjoyed watching Jones' play of late. Steel also seems to be taking steps forward finally too. Both need to work on their shooting in the off-season though. Our RW is just so bad. Looking forward to seeing the new guys in action, but expecting a loss tonight.

Did you see the defence? Barf! I really hope Djoos bumps Larsson out of #3LD once Fowler is back. He has been awful this year. In fact, in looking for a silverlining for this season, our top 4D has been pretty strong. I am cautiously hopeful of Djoos becoming a solid addition on our bottom pairing.

Adding Milano and Heinen for Ritchie and Shore upgrades our Skill by a lot imo, Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it I think we climb up the standings a bit over the last 20 games, especially when Fowler and Guddy get back in the line up

Im really excited to see how Milano plays with Rakell and Getz, Steel with Heinen is something I would like to see as well but Steel and Jones together is good too

I'm surprised to see Djoos getting PP time

Considering Chicago and Montreal are likely to drop. Lucky for you, Buffalo is going for it

Idk how much the typical/average ducks fan complain about specific players but if it’s anything like the Bruins fans get ready to hear it from all the pink hats who don’t know a whole lot about hockey with heinen. The guy imo is a really solid defensive minded forward. He lost his offensive confidence here in Boston for sure but I think a change of scenery will serve him well. I think a lot of bruins fans who bashed on him will soon wish he was a Bruin again by next season at the latest. Idk much about Ritchie except that he’s struggled to progress in his development. Seems like a grittier but less skilled version of heinen.

That trade injects some needed Skill into the Ducks line-up, Ritchie in my opinion has reached his ceiling and is a bottom 6 guy that provides some sandpaper, and didnt really have a purpose on ANA

I believe he is better suited on a contender like Boston and Heinen seems like he was falling out of favour there, good trade for both teams in my eyes

The Kase deal makes the Heinen Ritchie swap make more sense for both teams as well

If Sherwood stays up the ducks will be fine in the tank. He’s a turnover machine. I’m sure he’ll have another turnover tonight lead directly to a grade a scoring chance much like the first goal against Sunday.

At the 61-game mark (21 games to go), Anaheim had given up fewer goals than 13 other teams. The defense has played pretty well considering all of the injuries throughout the season. Depending on who we draft this June, three years from now our defense could be as good as Boston's or Carolina's is now.

I can't understand how anyone (not saying you) can think the Sabres have a realistic chance. Without commenting on the quality of the team, they would have to bank 1.5 points per game over their last 20 games (13-3-4) to get to 96 points, and then hope that one of Philadelphia, Carolina or the Islanders gets fewer than a point a game down the stretch in order for Buffalo to get a wild card slot. (Neither Boston this year nor St Louis last year during their run to the top got to 1.5 points per game.) Or, they have to hope that they jump over both Florida and Toronto.

I’m not saying they’ll make it but they won’t drop cuz they actually got better with Kahun and Simmonda
