Based on their history of acquiring a back up thought to be a starter in the past (see Cam Talbot) I think they might be weary of that unless the price is low.

I don't see any contending team taking a shot on him. Too much of an unknown to really say. Of all these teams I'd say San Jose would be the most likely. They're in a weird phase where they could retool quick and still be a strong team. I'd imagine Kevin LeBanc would be the target
