No chance leo is on the 3rd line. He has actually done well on the 4th line. He will be competing for a 4th line winger role with Martin.

Ladd/dal colle should rotate to see who is a better fit on the 3rd line. Unless there’s an injury to Ladd, dal colle, and bellows, komarov should not see any ice time with pageau and bailey. Komarov brings energy and excels in limited minutes on the 4th line, but he kills any offensive momentum aside for the 2-3 times a season where he makes highly skilled uncharacteristic plays (the backhand pass to Martin on the 2 on 1 last month)

Honestly i think I’d rather have komarov instead of Martin on the 4th line with cizikas and clutter

My guess is:

Lee-Barzal-Eberle
Beauvillier-Nelson-Brassard
MDC/Ladd/Bellows-Pageau-Bailey
Martin/Komarov-Cizikas-Clutterbuck

28.7 is the average age. That’s actually shocking to me. I didn’t realize the team was that far along.

They have old guys like Greene, Komorav, Clutterbuck and Boychuk.

Yeah, no idea why I just thought their core was younger. Barzal and Beauvillier are the only forwards under 27. Defense is a bit different because it takes most Ds longer to develop.
