I think Marleau can play center. He's great at faceoffs and can really skate. (And he's old so) He's literally our new Cullen. Plus we had issues with our 4th line

He hasn’t been a full-time center in pretty much a decade. Too much defensive responsibility. He can slide in and take face offs. But he’s a winger.

Don't mind it... But Rust needs to go back to the right wing. It is no coincidence that he is pointless often in the last ten. The one game he broke free Malkin was gone with illness and the lines shuffled.

We need to put our best players in the best positions to succeed. I feel like they haven't been doing that with Rust and McCann since Sid came back.

I wouldn't blame 87 for that, though. I would blame the new #18, though.

Rust has only been on the left wing for the last few games. During that time, the Malkin line is one of the only lines on the team that is scoring. It's not him that's scoring but he's been getting chances during this cold streak. Just not finishing.
