This team is pretty good. I wonder if they'll face Belleville in the playoffs somewhere that would be epic

I know the Devils (NJ) need warm bodies but I wish they weren't bringing up half of the Bing team to play bottom line minutes. Is it not more valuable for McLeod, Anderson, Merkley, etc. to push for an AHL playoff run than get whipped in the NHL for 5 minutes a night?

I know it was Detroit, but I thought McLeod was tremendous. He was largely stuck with poor linemates, but really stood out. Anderson has more than held his own since he has been up. Experience at NHL level (if not overmatched) > than AHL playoffs & they both look like they can hang.

Anderson has been good this year, it would be amazing if he could keep developing into a solid all-around player the way he has so far. I like McLeod's game (even though I tried to trade him in the other thread we talked on lol). I really hope he comes around and can play a fast and energetic middle of the lineup role. I think he's developed some toughness too. I'm fine with them getting some games here but if Bing manages to stay in the playoff race I think they deserve to be rewarded with their top players back once it gets to the final 10-12 games. Also, wouldn't be bad for these guys to learn what its like to play in a playoff series at the pro level, because god knows they probably won't be experiencing one with the big club for at least a few years.
