Description
keith trade makes vancouver instantly better, we get out of the contract 1 year earlier. keith would probably waive to go so close to home, and a chance to win. i do believe keith is worth a 1st by himself, but sweetened the pot, so i dont favour chicago. last i checked vancouver hates loui right?

vancouver is a cup contender, but will probably fall short this year. next year i see them being very aggressive, and going for it.

shaw and nylander go somewhere. shaw still valuable for character for a young team (Det). nylander im done with.

Seabs i know will not be here unti lDec, but threw him in as i dont think he gets traded.

i think there will be more UFA signings, but kept that conservative, and plugged our pipeline in. Kurashev will be next years Kubalik i think.

an other year in the bottom third of the league. im ok with that. this draft we will be in the top 6! i think by 2022-2023 we will start contending for playoff spot. we just need a couple more game breakers, and a little luck.

what are your thoughts.

Keith is still serviceable. Why give him up for Loui who has similar term and money? Simply for the assets?

Why are you giving away Shaw and Nylander?

i dont see a place for either of them in the line up. maybe we get better picks than that, or a prospect. i mainly just wanted to move them off the roster.

This doesn't make sense. Not only is Keith worth his cap hit, but he's still easily a top 3 on most teams. Makes zero sense to trade him. Furthermore, you're on drugs if you think a rookie is going to step up in the league and play the #1 job. The reason Boqvist is playing on the 1st line is because of Keith not in spite of Keith. Lastly on this topic, Vancouver should be giving up a 2nd just to move Eriksson, so you have a 1st for Keith and Kampf...bad deal. Kampf is $1M a year and will be a RFA. He's great on the PK and an awesome cost controlled 4th liner. I wouldn't trade Keith for anything less then a 1st and even then I'd rather see him play out his contract and sure as hell wouldn't trade Kampf for anything less then a 3rd.

Crow also isn't accepting a $3M deal...mark my words, he will take nothing under $4M and probably signs for $5M for 2 years.

You are giving away Nylander and Shaw. Shaw is worth a 3rd or 4th at worst. Nylander is worth a 3rd or 4th.

Kubs probably will get slightly more as well as Strome.

Maatta has been valuable as a 3rd liner and Beaudin likely won't be ready yet. I could see Seeler, Gilbert or Carlsson stepping into the 3rd line duty role, but again, Maatta is better then all of them despite his cap hit being disproportionately higher.
