Description

Mikheyev probably worth more but he's an RFA with very limited NHL games, even if he goes to Arbitration I doubt he gets over 2mill.

NJD gets a good high upside winger, better draft capital and an LHD where they have nobody.
That being said Severson is their best D-man and is only 25. They could rebuild and still have him around for another couple of years. I'm a Severson fan, just not sure if NJD would part with him, but everything has it's price

You'd be better off keeping Dermott and the first rd and have Dermott play on the right side.

No, it means the trade is invalid because he can't trade that first.

It's also a huge overpay for Severson. He's not that great.
