I'm not going to comment on the trades themselves, but contract-wise, do you really want Rielly, Ristolainen, Weegar, and Sandin all expiring in the same year? That could be a nightmare of a summer

More interested in Kapanen than Johnsson. What about Risto, Miller and a 2nd for Kapanen, Johnsson and a 4th?

Jumbo has expressed he wants to go to a cup contender (this is both a shot and a realistic statement)... If he isnt back on the sharks, he will be in Tampa, Boston (who dont need him), or some western contender like the oilers

There have been reporters speculating on him in TO, but I agree this season has shown that the Leafs aren't at the 'win a cup' stage of their development as a team which will be a hard sell to Jumbo in to town.
