Pretty safe bet that Chara is coming back. Honestly I would expect an extension soon.

Depending on the team and situation it's Krug @ between 5-7yrs term at US$6M to $7.5M?

Think key re-signings as follows: UFA Krug, RFAs DeBrusk/Grzelcyk/Bjork/Kuhlman will not leave enough dough$ for Halak (unless he takes a team-friendly deal too).
Backup will likely be Vladar/Keyser or other...

I wouldn't worry about MTL, Krug had every Canadian team on his no trade list

They sign everyone save the money from Krug and when krejci and rask are up next off season they have enough cap space and flexibility to reset the roster a little bit

Chara totally slipped my mind. I do expect him back too. They’d probably let Urho marinate a little longer in Providence.

Maybe. I kind of think if Krug is gone, they bring up Vaak, and let lauzon and clifton fight it out for the third spot on the right side. I think they’re quasi comfortable with lauzon taking time on his off side.
