Might be a better idea to ask him to report to Laval where the rest of Habs future is (minus Suzuki).

i hope he will not come this year , i don't want to burn one year on his first contract for a lost season and he is not ready yet give him some time .

Caufield should play on 3rd or 4th line if he does sign and stays in the NHL
tbh a line I want to see in the future is Gallagher - Suzuki - Caufield
