Description
First of all I didn't think too much about the contracts of the AHL guy so don't read into that.
I have Romanov Signing max for a rookie since he could make more in the KHL.
I have Caufield starting in the AHL. It's not about talent because we know he can score. I feel like he has to learn to protect himself a bit more. He could defenitly be brought up during the season but I would like him to adapt playing against men in the AHL.
Byron and Weal are very quick depth player that could fit well with COL scheme.
I like Dell as a backup for 25 ish games and again this is just and idea there are plenty of different options of backup goalers this summer so feel free to write who do you want them to sign to serve as a backup. I don't think it's wise to start Primeau right away. He's playing very good in the AHL right now and could be Price's backup the year after.
Domi..... Domi... Domi..... This one is though contract wise. I was looking for a player that plays his style with similar numbers and I feel like the best comparaison is Nikolaj Ehlers. Ehlers is 24 and is in the first year of his new contract at 6M$. I could see Domi in that same range.

I haven't watched a lot of Colorado games but I felt like they wanted to find a real starter. So I get he might be better than a backup but is he a real starter?

He played stellar for them in the playoffs for them last playoffs, and I assume they’re confident in him as their starter. There’s no indication that they need a new goalie.

If his stats are similar to or better then Prices, maybe you should ask yourself if Montreal has a "real" starter?

Even if Colorado wanted an upgrade in goal you a) didn't give them one (and left them with a huge hole instead) and b) gave them a terrible return for their current #1 guy. You know nothing about the guy and just traded two bottom-6 forwards for him. Not happening.
