Signing him till he's 38 would be a big mistake IMO, but maybe paying him 9-10 over a shorter contract makes sense. If he's demanding that kind of term and money the blues might just let him walk. They are a good team with a strong base, players would want to sign there

Considering Carlson signed 8x8 and and Josi signed 9x8 the money seems right to me. Plus you'd have to think he'd want to stay there and win again so i don't see him asking for the Karlsson/Doughty money

Allen is like 5th in the league in save percentage, and he's been playing great for over a year now. You should watch him, he's totally fixed his mechanics, looks like a whole new player. He's probably worth a 3rd by himself.
