I'll be pissed if Tampa signs another free agent prospect in our own backyard

Maybe Grigorenko found his game? He's having a great season in the KHL

No, BOS never gave him a contract, he's above 20yrs old and will be ending his time in the QMJHL. Because he was drafted in 2017 and not signed by 2019, he falls as a UFA. Teams retain the rights of their North American draft prospects for 2 years.

His speed is a concern, also despite his size he's not really a physical presence. He's the kind of guy who will have to adapt his game to play in the NHL. Hopefully, he has some skill and his current production is not only explained by the fact that he plays with Lafrenière

Yeah, most likely.

But, I'd still like to see the bet made.

Tampa signed Barré-Boulet and Martel, but they also signed Gourde and Marchessault. Hopefully, Paré can turn into the latter group.
Grigorenko doubled his production in his last 2 years in the KHL - in a league that is usually difficult to accumulate points - he's almost a point per game player.
* Also he's a teammate of Romanov's, so maybe bring him a Russian friend? *
