Dubas has no interest in Brodin as he ha Liljegren ready in that right handed defence position.

Never mind the fact that Sandin is no where to be seen. Just passed up for Calle Rosen. Nothing against Rosen, but Sandin is their best defensive prospect.

Those RFA signings don't seem high enough. All that just to fit in the unneeded Brodin for a year.

Goat and Mik's contracts seem about right. Dermott's is a little low on dollars and term, Malgin likely gets a one year closer to a million.

FYI - Brodin is a solid defender, mobile strong and exactly the kind of partner needed beside Rielly - with experience
Liljegren is a prospect, if you were GM would you put responsibility for first pair defensive play on a rookie
Please note TML Sage there is a franchise that did that all the time in the 80's & 90's and even as recently as Luke Schenn
....can you remind me how that worked out? (i.e. 1967)

OK - so if Sandin's ceiling is 1st pair LD si he ready for it yet?
How about this, if his ceiling is 1st or 2nd pair - is it good development for a 19 year old to be playing small minutes on the 3rd pair in the NHL or large minutes in every situation on the Marlies?
BTW have you noticed the lack of strength when Sandin is defending low against big, strong, experienced NHL forwards
not passed over - given an opportunity to grow into the best possible version of himself
....ask Schenn, Nylund, Boimstruk, Benning... no development time = no chance to succeed
