I doubt Tampa does that. Sergachev probably won't be traded, and the condition is bad.

this is the kind of move that Detroit needs to make. Getting a good young player plus a bigger contract. THis would help Tampa with their cap issues, but at the same time I doubt they would deal Sergachev.
Most likely they would move one or two of TJ, Killorn, Palat, or Gourde to make cap room for Cirelli and Sergachev. I think Detroit is a good landing spot for those guys if they are willing to waive their NTC/NMC.

It was worth a shot. I will sign Greiss instead then.

I don't think just moving 2 middle 6 forwards clears enough cap for them.

You might be right.
Palat makes 5.3 AAV
Gourde makes 5.1
TJ makes 5
Killorn makes 4.4.
so moving out two allows the lightning to pay Sergachev and Cirelli around 4.5-6 mill each, maybe that isn't enough.
I know this for sure...there should be interest in all those guys I mentioned above. All versatile forwards around 30
As a jets fan I would be interested in Gourde and TJ

If we trade for johnson, we would have to protect him in the expansion draft, there for, I pass on him and his 5 mill cap hit when he is 34 years. we are trying to rid ourselves of this type of deal. Our 2021 pick will more then likely be top 5. Why trade such a high pick. If we were going to trade that pick, then we would offer sheet Sergachev for 6.3mill and keep Ras and Cholo.
