Description
So, general thought process is we need a legitimate partner for Weber.
It would take alot get acquire Lindholm, but I think he'd be a perfect fit.
Yes, we are still missing firepower upfront, but we will need cap to sign our entire UFA top line + Petry....

Domi signing for 5 years is around 6M
Don't think Juulsen will be playing in the NHL over Fleury
Hudon is not getting 1.1M in any world; max 975K
Why trade 24 yo Domi and 21 yo Mete for 29 yo Silfverberg and 26 yo Lindholm

Now this is interesting. Juulsen might never be the same player he used to be, he is just now back to practicing/playing. But it will be interesting between Juulsen and Fleury for the RD 3rd pairing next year. Hudon is having success at AHL level, can he translate that to NHL. He is not a bottom six player, his skill set is ideally a 2nd line player but he is not producing at NHL level. Was it a confidence issue? coaching style? But a decision needs to be made.

Now for the interesting part and you are one of the few people addressing this. I see Suzuki as the 1st line C in two years. Can he improve on his faceoff's and handle top line responsibilities. As much as I love Danault, he is not a 1st line C. However, I am old enough to remember Lemaire between Lafleur and Schutt. A responsible two way player between two snipers and it worked. KK is producing at AHL level, I think this has really helped and it should have been where he started, however, he either stuck at NHL or went back to Finland and team wanted him here, so I get it. I think Suzuki, KK, Danault and Evans are your four Centres of the future with Poehling sliding to the wing. But I also think KK should do another year at the AHL level. I like Domi, but he is not a winger. So the question is do you sign him to a short term deal, considering you still have RFA status left in him or do you move him for the trade you mentioned? I like your offer, would it be enough to get those two guys? If you do get Silverberg, I see him above Armia.

I was thinking same thing, but Habs have plenty of picks to add to this deal.

Why bother writing youd pay a guy 125k less?
Domi/Tatar or Drouin are expendable.
We nee a LD who can play top line minutes, defend, and chip in some points.

Gotta like the way Suzuki has progressed, I mean he surpassed Domi on the depth chart in his rookie season.
I really hope we dont pay him 7mil for last year.
Silferberg is not a top 6 guy, and Armia has looked very impressive this year.
