The number of Jets on here is due to the system we are/have been running this season. Since our D is so terrible, Maurice has had our forwards back in the d-zone so often, and the centre pretty much acts as a 3rd D-man unless it’s Scheifele, who is the only centre allowed to float a little more since he’s been playing so many minutes (4th in the league for forwards behind only McDavid, Drai, and Eichel). All of this leads to our xGF being so horrendous cause there’s no sustained pressure and the pucks that we do shoot are usually floaters from the blue line, nothing too dangerous.

It’s not on the players, Connor and Laine have been great offensively, and their xGF doesn’t really correlate to their play.
