It has been reported that the Leafs are actively targeting to sign some more Russian KHL UFA free agents after April 30, 2020 this year following the success of signing Ilya Mikheyev last year. Two potential targets for the Leafs are Konstantin Okulov a 24 year old centre who is 6 feet tall and is playing for CSKA Moscow and Timur Bilyalov who is a 24 year old goalie who is 5 feet and 10 inches and playing for Ak Bars Kazan in the KHL.

Interested in your thoughts of whether Dubas might be thinking to one day create a Leafs Russian Five unit or simply a Leafs Russian Three unit of 3 Russian forwards on same line following the success of the Detroit Red Wings and their famous Russian Five during the 1995-1996 season who at times during a game put five Russian players together as one unit of three forwards and two defenceman.
