The Chicago trade might be a slight overpay. Don't know the guys well.

Will likely have to be.

I most targetted prospects with in tangible.
Like for example, Alex Gravel is 6'4 goalie..

Tbh the prospects are a wash for me. Idk if DAL does it cause Dickinson can kinda play up and down the lineup and play whatever role needed. Kerfoot (and I’m not 100% so I may be wrong) seems like an offense first guy. I think DAL declines but it’s not horrible

I said the Hawks deal was an overpay but it would have to be because they have no incentive to move him unless they get an overpay.

The stars deal I have no idea if they would consider moving Dickinson and I have no idea what it would take...lets ask @BurgerBoss

Would Dallas consider moving Dickinson? And what would they want in return? More specifically from the leafs?

I think either a Kapanen or Johnsson. Obviously Dallas would add something but if they move Dickinson they’d need an offensive minded winger

Sounds good to me! I've been high on this kid for a while but didn't think Dallas would consider moving him.

There you go @Trickster... Dickinson is a possibility... Like always you thought successfully outside the box 👍 now go tell Dubas to get it done.

I personally like Dickinson. He's defensively sound and he always puts everything he has on the game every single shift. Also he's cheap and have potential to improve.

I don't know much about these prospects, but I'd say they're fairly even.

Value-wise this is ok, but I'd probably still decline this, because I don't see Kerfoot being that much of an upgrade over Dickinson, and he also costs $2M more. Money is scarce, and we need it to re-sign Heiskanen... I think it would be a bit of waste to acquire Kerfoot for bottom-6 role.

I get your point, and honestly, I thought he was close to untouchable and if we could deal for him it would take Liljegren which we can't do (not saying that it's not fair) but RHD is our biggest weakness.

Do you agree with @McFaksaGOAT? He said he'd trade him for Johnsson or Kapanen... That's something that interests me and I'm sure @Trickster would be good with that too, although I don'like to speak on others' behalf so you're better to ask him. Trickster is our out of the box thinker who always comes up with good ideas and deals so when he told me about this deal I was on board but I wasn't sure if Dallas would be.

Not for Johnsson...but for Kappy I'd probably do it. Pairing him with Hintz and Gurianov would make a fast as heck line...

I'd run the lines as
Benn-Seguin-Radulov
Gurianov-Hintz-Kapanen
Cogliano-Faksa-Comeau
Janmark-Pavelski-Perry

Isn't Janmark's contract up? If not what would it take to get him in the deal? You still want a 3rd or something else?

Unrelated note but Janmark needs to be replaced by literally anyone else lol he’s not bad or good he’s just kinda there

Edit: I mean he’s super good and could probably fetch a 2nd

Yeah he's UFA now that I think about it...and so is Perry.
Screw them, I'd replace them with Robertson and Caamano.

At this point, DAL is not going to get anything from Janmark.
