Sergachev and Cernak are both very likely in the long term plans here on LD and RD respectively. Tampa overpaid to get Coleman and Goodrow to replace it seems Killorn and Paquette, who are the easiest F to move. If one of Gourde/TJ is willing to waive, then sure, try and see if something is there but if not then Killorn, unfortunately, is gone. At least the return for him will be solid and hopefully he leaves with a Cup. While I believe Cal Foote is also in the future plans at RD, the fact that he didn't get even a couple games with all of the injuries on defense is concerning. He will be expected to be an every game contributor next year at minimum 3RD and so a few games now for experience could've been good for him. After being unwilling to include him in any trade these past 2 years, he better be ready game 1 next year or it's another bad move by JBB. If moving all these high pieces was on the table at the tdl, they could've foregone Goodrow initially and at least approached Anaheim about Manson, maybe offering 2020 1st, Foote and 2021 2nd or something for Manson at 50%. Maybe Anaheim says no but if they do make the trade then Tampa gets Manson for 3 shots at 2.05 million aav, and sets up their defense next year with Hedman, McD and Serg on the left, with Manson, Cernak and Rutta on the right, with Gaunce/Masin/Bogosian potentially as depth. I guess Tampa could make a move like this in the off-season depending on cap situation but that too 6 would've been nice for this playoff run as well.
