Rather try Halak again than Greiss; Greiss probably wants more than $3 333 333
Domi at 6 years is more like 6.125M
Mete at 3 years is more like 2.5M

Tatar - Danault - Gallagher
Drouin - Suzuki - Armia
Lehkonen - Kotkaniemi - Evans
Byron - Domi - Weal

Domi's line and Kotkaniemi's line both get 3rd line minutes; I just put Domi's line lower because it has 2 4th liners and KK's line has one 4th liner (Evans)
Domi's line is like that because that is our current 3rd line and is playing well
Same for 2nd, 1st lines

Question for you guys @MaxDomi13 @GMs

Assuming we have the same level of injuries this year and next year, why will this team make the playoffs and different than this years Habs?

if they get the same injuries than this year, they'll miss the playoffs again. I got your point, but we wont be a "playoffs" team for another 1-2 year

If this is the case - it should be crystal clear. This team is not good enough. Every single playoff team has injuries. If injuries happen, your supposed to be able to win enough to still make it. Habs didn't even lose their best players to injury like Price, Tatar or Gallagher or Petry etc....Weber for just a couple games...... and they still missed the playoffs.

Its not the PP, the injuries, inconsistency, yada yada yada. The Habs are just not very good. This team needs to retool the right way. Not half a** it. (Not a full rebuild just a real retool)

I get it but it wont happen, Price Weber Petry Gallagher are here to stay and maybe one of Danault or Tatar will stay too. They will add Romanov Caufield Poehling Fleury Ylonen slowly and try to win in 3-4 years

In 3-4 years everyone one of Price Weber Petry Gallagher Danault Tatar.....etc will be over 31 years old........ Some of those guys will be late 30's.........

This is why MB's plan is flawed. He is assuming they stay where they are now.

Petry will be the #1 in 2-3 years, Weber on the 2nd pairing
He expect Danault-Gallagher to be on the 3rd line in 3-4 years

But the prospect/young players really need to step up ( Suzuki Kotkaniemi Drouin Poehling Fleury Mete Romanov ) if they dont turned out like he believes they will, we are screw another 10 years
I trust him with the new core of Suzuki Caufield KK Ylonen Fleury Poehling Primeau etc

Petry in 3 years: 35 years old
Weber in 3 years: 38 hears old
Price in 3 years: 36 years old.
Tatar: ......31
Gallagher: .......30

That is a terrible plan IMO.

but that's the plan … Petry is just getting better and better, Weber might decline drastically, but I'm not worried with Petry

Sure I guess. Then again, go look at the last 15 stanley cup winners and see how old the D core was on average....... teams win cups on their best players being from 20-29. 30+ players need to be your depth guys. Not the ones to rely on.

If we get the same amount of injuries we will be trading for Scandella again and trade for Kovalchuk lol
And unfortunately Caufield isn't coming to MTL or LAV in 2020-2021

I know, but Molson want to keep the team "competitive", we might get a full rebuilt if Bergevin reset doesn't work

Do you think ikonen and McShane for Alex barre-boulet and a 2nd 2021 is this good for MTL?

Bergevin doesn't want Barre-boulet, the guy isn't a exemple outside the ice. Doing drugs, party, etc. They signed Alain instead
