I'm not saying that Bracco is worth a roster player on his own, but imo he's probably best moved in a package for a player who can help the Leafs now. But just for arguments sake if they to trade him and only him to the Canadiens, they'd probably be sending back a 5th-6th, or a player in a similar situation to Bracco.

then why trade him at all? outside of Andersson the other two are at the stage of their career were they have dominated both the current leagues their in. Bracco is a 22 year old who has 145 points in 169 games. He has the ability to explode on a teams PP and work on a teams third line until ready for the 2nd or higher. I think Dubas would keep him for anything less to destroy the AHL and or come on and play depth mins

Bracco, Puljujarvi, Andersson. What do you want? Puljujarvi has the best shot of being an NHLer....followed by Andersson. Bracco IMO, not a chance.

Believe its family, but never stated otherwise. The Marlies have been a mess since their best two D and 2 forwards have left lol

Again, I'd rather move him in a package for immediate help, but as a question of value, yes, that seems about right.

I feel like he's very close to being waiver eligible...

Then again, if you look at the list of leading scorers from the AHL over the past handful of years, you'll see that the majority of them are similar guys who've had no NHL career.

Oh, ****. I didn't necessarily mean in a package to Montreal, I just meant in general. Kinda sprung this on me lol. Ummm... My initial response to this would have to be no from the Leafs. Because Petry is a rental at this point, two young, fast, effective wingers with contract control ++ seems like a very steep price to pay. We saw what rentals were going for at this past deadline, and it wasn't this. Maybe if the Leafs could discuss an extension first, this would be closer, but with this being Petry's last shot at a big contract, I think he'll want to test the market.

He'll need to go through waivers next season for starters, so unless Toronto intends to give him a shot, getting anything is better than losing him for nothing.

Petry with 6.5Mx4 extension and instead of the WPG pick Washington's 3rd for same package?

Byron is a great player but Puljujarvi should rejoin Edmonton next off-season.
