Description
I have no idea what the summer will bring because depending on how the playoff go, will greatly impact the summer. I don't see how Toronto can't make a move for a D. I also don't know how they can bring back Kapanen, Johnsson, and Kerfoot. I think atleast two have to go.

I am sure most of you will say I am way off but it's fun to try!

Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Dumba, Matt
Additional Details:
I think Dubas has his mindset on Dumba. Minny wants a C so Kerfoot is their guy
MIN
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
  2. Kivihalme, Teemu
  3. 2021 2nd round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
A lot of people are going to argue the value of this trade from both sides. At the very least I am somewhat close to the return Dumba will get.
2.
TOR
  1. Jankowski, Mark [RFA Rights]
  2. Mangiapane, Andrew [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
The leafs save money by doing this and get two players
CGY
  1. Brooks, Adam
  2. Johnsson, Andreas
Additional Details:
Calgary is looking to upgrade their top 6 and this trade helps them plus they don't have to worry about resigning their two RFA's
3.
TOR
  1. Timmins, Conor
Additional Details:
This saves the leafs money which is going to be the thyme of the off season :( They need another right-shot D man in their system
COL
  1. Bracco, Jeremy
  2. Kapanen, Kasperi
Additional Details:
I don't know if the Avs would ever do this but think of Kapanen with MacKinnon That line would be so fast!

Cap is likely to go up otherwise things will have to go differently

I just don't think dumba is necessary, nor do I think he's what we need. We need a shutdown top 4 to play with rielly, not an offensive insanely expensive defenceman (as dumba would cost more than what you have).

exchange kivalhalme with liljegren and add a first and they don't accept for sure, but you're in a closer ball park. I don't think the leafs would be smart to do it, but that's likely the asking price

I agree but I think he is who Dubas wants

Why is so necessary to have a RHD....especially when his cap is 6m and you have make 11 point centre Jankowski the 3C and Malgin in the top 9.

Generally first pair RHDs are not traded for 3rd line Cs, fringe-AHL d-men and a low 2nd rounder... In my opinion the only sensible option for Wild from TOR in exchange to Dumba is Nylander (with Wild adding of course), any other asset just doesn't make sense enough for their point of view.

Johnsson is risky for teams due to being too injury-prone, you're not fetching full value for him in a trade at the moment. Teams should only consider him if they're getting him cheap - this is not it.

COL trade has enough value, but honestly Kappy is unnecessary for them. There's a rare team that's actually quite loaded with RWs (Rantanen, Donskoi, Compher, Nichushkin). Can't see them moving Timmins.

Ya gotta be kidding with the MINN & COL trades. On the other hand, not sure why you'd do the CGY trade.
