As a Toronto fan sorry no. Why would they go after Stecher and give up a great player in Kapanen when they can get Tanev as a free agent?

Too many trades I'd say.

This obviously assumes Markstrom walks, which at this point i think is highly unlikely.

I would gladly move Beagle. However moving Eriksson right now just isn't preferable. We aren't desperate to get that cap off quite yet. I'd rather wait until he has one year left.

Toronto trade is alright. I prefer not do the Dallas trade - I do realize the TOR trade fills the virtanen gap.

Canucks need some significant defensive help. I just don't think these players fulfill that - Moreso without markstrom.

While the Kings should do that trade, I don't think that they will. The Kings have had several options to take on had contracts in exchange for 1st round picks, but have chosen not to and rather have let the cap space sit unused. I don't think they'll start now. It's likely they have an internal spend limit during the rebuilding years.

Because they save money by doing this trade?

Stecher is going to be cheaper than Kappy.
