Hall can't be "1C" because he doesn't play C......

Hall has never played centre in the NHL, and I’m not sure he even played there in junior

Just in case enough people haven't told you yet, Hall isn't a center. But more importantly... He definitely isn't going to make 11 million.

Putting Drouin on C was useless, so why have him as an example for this? Despite his Capfriendly profile, Hall doesn't play C. Also you moved our 2nd best C, and the one with the most potential to be a 1C to the wing. The absoloute last thing Montreal needs to do is put a winger at C. If anything we should be trying a C on the wing.

I mean Domi worked out as a center - would Hall's play style translate well as a center?

Its not like Domi's Godfather and Mentor is Mats Sundin one of the greatest Centers of his Generation ...... o snap , he is .
Domi's game was a joke so learning to Play Center saved his Career or atleast saved him from becoming a version of his dad in a Goon

That said Hall is top point producer on every team he's on so you'd have to be extremely reckless to ask him to change anything .
For those of us who has played its a much different game from center ice and a lot better chance you get steam rolled .
When you're playing Wing you only got 180 Degree's you got to account for but with Center's you got a lot more responsibility along with playing in the high impact zones
(plus being hit along the boards is much easier as you have some give to them but hitting the unforgiving ice is exactly what it sounds like .)
