Why would we trade Boqvist? Boqvist, Dach, and Mitchell and whoever we draft will be apart of the future of the Hawks and trading him would be a big mistake.

I can answer this! Cuz Stan bowman is a Clown who has a knack for trading players who should be part of the future. Panarin, jokiharju, danault, teravainen, and so on. So yea, I’ve literally refused to buy a boqvist cuz I truly believe he will traded eventually.

Idk I don't think Bowman would trade a player that he drafted that high in the draft. Also I believe Bowman will be fired this off-season if the hawks miss the playoffs

That 2nd is worth way more to Detroit than Maatta and a 4th are.

That Boqvist trade makes me want die. (Not that I should be talking because I had a trade proposal with him going to the leafs earlier, but still.)

The point of this post was a retool not a rebuild. Management probably thinks we are closer to contending than we really are and if that is the case we would be smart to get a top 4 dman. If you think your a contender than kieth, dehaan, murphy, boqvist, mitchell, and koekkoek/carlson won't cut it. I don't nessicarily want to trade him but bowman has traded almost every first-round pick he's ever had away so you can't tell me it's not realistic. Maybe Trouba isn't the exact guy but something along the lines of top 4 RHD would go a long way towards winning more games.
