If stastny and a 4th could be had for just Bjugstad then the pens would just deal with Vegas and skip the middle man.

The jets could want him all they want. I think if stastny is available for such a little return, the pens would want him too. Heck I think the pens probably would want him anyway considering he is amazing at faceoffs and defensively responsible.

Or a Lowry package to the VGK for Stastny. Pitt have wanted Lowry also. Plausible
I might prefer to sign DeMelo for less over Hamonic.
Copp would be 3C in this scenario w/o a doubt.

Im interested to see how Demelo plays with Morrisey tonight and for the rest of the year. if they develop some chemistry I think the jets look long and hard at re-signing him before July 1st.

Stastny to Pittsburgh (some retention if necessary)

makes more sense.

Paying a 4th on top of Stastny to get Bjugstad? No way Vegas would do that.
