You have no cap to resign Gallagher next year. Based off how much he’s being glorified on this site he’ll get 10mx8years

You should double that.

Suzuki gets $30M a year after his ELC expires.

Yeah... Saw a Wild post where some fan commented that there's not a single player in that organisation they'd trade Suzuki for... Just for example.

Haha ugh. Gallagher Manson are the main 2 people are going crazy over. Basically anyone in Toronto also. I told somebody Marchand is better than Matthews atm ( hot take) but the response was like I compared him to Bobby Ryan

True.

Matthews or Marchand is interesting. I'd probably take Matthews though since I hate Marchand lol.

Also one overhyped asset that comes to mind is Dobson. Granted he's great D prospect, but I've come across a Isles fan saying he wouldn't trade him 1-on-1 for Laine...

Haha really? I think Timmons is quietly a really good prospect. I would love to acquire him but idk what the cost would be.

COL fans have him in high value. Think it's gonna cost quite much.

In the world that they're starved for offense and Drouin is a 50 point 24 year old winger signed for 5.5 million. Brodin is older and after 1 more season going to cost more money.

Didnt say add a 1st round pick or anything but if you're giving up the asset that's younger, cheaper and has a chance to increase in value then you get the sweetener in the trade.

youre wrong but whatever, keep thinking that, brodin is better, gets hurt less, drouin has gotten 50 points twice in his career, he was drafted 3rd overall, hes a bust. but you still have pk subban in your username so makes sense that you dont know anything, if only you guys drafted a solid d, thats right you did and traded him for drouin ahahaha

How is Brodin better? You're comparing two players at opposite ends of the spectrum, one is a 24 year old offensive winger and the other a 26 year old defensive defenceman. Brodin gets hurt less? Is that why he is 2 years older and has played the same amount of 70+ game seasons as Drouin? This is the first season Drouin has missed significant time in his entire career. From the sounds of your angry insults I'm guessing you dont actually have any structural facts as to why Brodin is worth more as the facts iv listed for Drouins case, but yes tell me how I'm the one who doesnt know anything.

brodin is the wilds best defenseman, he plays in all situations. drouin is 1 dimensiona,l drouin has been extremely underwhelming. the fact you thin k becasue he is younger is dumb. ill say it again Drouin is a bust, and its funny casue the habs need offence but your trading one of your forwards, the habs would need to add more bottom line. don trade sergachev for him and you wont be in this dilemma. bergervin has made some good trades that was an awful one. the asking price for brodin is a top line center anda pick/prospect so i dont know how drouin fits that description, so tell me how thewild need to add more when you are not even meeting what they want?

Lol you think Brodin is worth a top line center and another piece? My god talk about delusional. He is a 20 min a night defensive defenseman with a career high of 30 points. He is a good defenceman but you just sound really biased against Drouin. Multiple 50 point seasons before 25 and easily has the potential be a 60 point winger entering his prime years on a cheap contract is a valuable asset in this cap ridden league. Brodin will be 28 when signing his next contract and likely want 6 years or more at 7 million at least.

In the end, they will have to decide this summer if they are trading him or resigning him because if Minnesota waits and it goes into the season with him on an expiring contract his trade value wont even be close to Drouins. They resign him July 1st and maybe MTL looks at the deal.

But you're just going in circles with this discussion, call Drouin useless, add insult, repeat. You want to bring actual facts or a humanly discussion into the fold feel free to respond, if not have your opinion, have a good day and let the future see who is right.

Wild easily pass.

Droiun adds nothing to MN. MN dumped Zucker for futures because he wasn't needed on the team.

People are so dumb. Kotkaniemi is just 19. Look at Draisaitl at 19: 9 points in 37 games. Pacioretty was thought to be a bust until he broke out at 23, etc. Kotkaniemi was given bad players to play with in a third line role, there’s no reason he would of gotten 50 points. Give the kid time smh.
