Yeah that's not the deal the Isles were willing to make, otherwise that would've happened. There was a lot of salary retention talks.

I do think the Isles and Wild could be good trading partners though.

Potentially, but cap recapture also screws over the Wild if Parise were to retire prior to his contract ending

So basically the exact same team minus Parise and getting rid of the better goalie between Stalock/Dubnyk. This is worse than the current team because of those moves. You didn't even put Kaprizov in.
