BTW Lehner likely won't go anywhere he isn't the consensus starter, IMO. He's proven all he needs.

Counter offer from Columbus- Werenski for Domi, Mete and 2021 1st (top 10 protected, and turns into 2022 1st unprotected).

Columbus needs a center and honestly the pick isn’t near enough for Werenski.

Take more then Drouin+Mete+2nd round pick for Zach Werenski. And good luck convincing Robin Lehner to sign for 1 x 6 try more like 7 x 7.

When you've got a player of that level of quality, I like to have a minimum threshold for the centerpiece of the trade. If we do a three-assets-for-one deal involving Werenski, I suspect we lose the trade badly.

That and 1) I don't think Mete really adds value, and 2) I don't like deferred picks being the only picks when a star player is being given up.
