Stecher is not very good. His underlying numbers are mediocre, and he doesn't put up a lot of points to offset that either. And he is playing nearly 5 minutes less per game this season than last season. He is not someone I would feel comfortable with to be a top line player.

edit: And he barely averages over 30s of PK time per game with no PP time.

He wasn't doing anything special with his minutes in any of his prior seasons in VAN though. Now that they have some better D, he got pushed down the depth chart because he was never really that good back then or now.
