Not much point in spending on Toffoli. Rutherford thinks Poulin could be ready next year. Legare and Hallander also aren't far away.

yikes, I haven't heard that, but IMO Poulin isn't close to ready

I think out of those three forwards, there is a reasonable chance that one of them could be far along enough to get playing time. Legare was great in camp and preseason games last year. Hallander is currently playing against men and doing pretty well after recovering from his broken leg. Regardless, no reason to invest a ton of money in another older winger. You are better off bringing back Sheary for a cheap short term deal or something.

Also worth pointing out that was really high on POJ when he talked about him after the trade deadline. Seems to think he's come a long way. Probably will get some call ups next year.

hopefully POJ has improved, I was not impressed in the beginning of the year, I could see Hallander getting some time next year depending on how he adjusts as well

Just having fun with 88 mill. Wouldn’t really suggest we go after anybody other than a Dman in UFA

The ideal would be a upgrade at third pairing RHD.
