Shouldn't you add rookie Eric Lindros to your roster since you can go back 30 years into the past?

We're past the future now. It's only idiocracy from here on out.

Often on these boards, I see people only signing Myers for two years. I'm no expert but wouldn't it make sense to sign him to a longer term to get some more clarification cap wise going forward? I mean Sanheim's already on a short term deal. No need for that here imo.

What would you like to see with Myers? A 5 Year $25 Million deal? Cap hit at $5 million? I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that term on him. A 3 year for $12 million could be fine. That aligns him with Ghost's contract expiring and then at that point you'd expect one will no longer be a Flyer thereafter.

It'd be better if Lindros were on the 89-90 Flyers. He was not. 89-90 is not time period often referred to in Flyers lore and no one should travel back in time to see it.

Technically this would be for the 90-91 Flyers since the cap doesn't increase until next season.

You're right. We have to go 1 year to the future and then 30 years back. Still no Lindros though. 92-93 was his rookie season.

I wouldn't pay him $5 million. He's nowhere near that level yet & we don't know if he'll ever be. Coming to think of it, maybe the two year deal as you originally suggested is the best way to go anyway. After that they'll get a better grasp of his worth.
