Jarvis shouldn’t go top 20... he’s too small and gets pushed around too much in juniors.... he also isn’t NHL ready...

B-beautiful. Even more salt in the wound of Sharks fans, their pick could be Lafreniere.

If Ducks are at 4 I gotta think Drysdale goes there, serious question, Would you rather have Laf or actually get Melnyk out?

Oilers don’t need centre’s. Make it Connor brown and sure. Or even Batherson but I doubt they move Batherson.

This is more of a depth chart of young talent, not a roster for next season

Drysdale isn't a top 5 prospect in this draft, he'll only go there bc teams will draft for team need

Idk, guy has drew doughty written all over him. I feel like anyone taken in the top 6 this year could be argued as a #2 overall in most drafts.

oh yeah, he has legit number 1 upside, just Laf Byfield Stutzle and Raymond are all closer to ready and/or have higher ceilings

I'd go 1. Lafreniere
5. Rossi
18. Quinn
33. Pytlik

No complaints with that either. Lafreniere-Rossi-Quinn along with Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson for years to come would make me a very happy person.

I'd disagree with you on that. His skating is amazing and his playmaking abilities are very good. He's got a nice shot to go with it and a knack for getting to the net. As a Caps fan, it reminds me a lot of TJ Oshie, but a better skater. He backchecks hard as well. I think he's the coach's dream player that will be trusted in any situation in the NHL.

Sure, OTT currently has ZERo 1st line players, Brady is at best a 2nd line LW who will never have more than 50-55 points in a season, Same with Duclair, 2nd line player.

OTT d is SET for decade+ right now with Chabot (LD), Wolanin(LD), Lajoie (LD), Branstrom (LD/RD), Jaros (RD), JBD(RD), Thompson (RD), Tychonick (RD).

This year the foward group is DEEP and they absolutely must draft fowards in the first round, Next year the D is deep so they should draft D next year.

Wasting a top 10 pick on a Dman when they could draft a potential elite 1st line playing would be crippling considering OTT is already deep in the D prospects. OTT must learn from the leafs and oilers what not to do in stacking one position while not addressing the others...

He’s a great player... but I get to see him every game in Portland and he’s just not a top 20 pick... he’s no better then Petan was in Portland and Petan had much better stats... Petan also wasn’t ever an major NHL contributor... Jarvis would be good... just not a player I’d take in the top 20.

That's fair, and I can totally see the comparison to Petan. Agree to disagree, and in six or seven years we can check back in to see who was right lmao
