Habs are also the ones looking for the trade, not the sabres.

Remove the 2nd or downgrade it and add a lesser prospect.

Huge overpayment. Montour isnt very good and would be a 3rd pairing defensemen on the habs. That's where he should be but you could sign a better UFA defenseman who will have a lower cap hit and they wouldnt have to give domi up

I like the idea but the execution isn't right IMO. Habs need a LHD way more than a righty and although Johnson isn't a bad prospect, I don't think he is the one we should target.
