jack is a player on contract, he has 0 say in anything the gm does and can't actually do anything about it. !!!but!!!! the gm could literal say i don't want to be one and done in the playoffs i want us to be perennial threat. skinner as good a player he is will be a negative to this team because of the last gms cap management.

look as good as jack is its been pretty obv he cant carry the team to the playoffs.
that means automatically the team is rebuilding/ retooling because they are making playoffs.
so regardless who the gm is they will 100% be rebuilding with jack in the lineup( not getting traded).
this is supposed to be a stacked draft class so even if you think the best player is at #2 there will be a bunch of great picks in that 1st round.
unless we get 1st overall i dont see anyone that is 100% going to make jump straight to top 6. so next year is going to more or less same top 6.
