You're asking for too much from the Blues. And we can't do that without letting Petro walk anyway. So, thanks, but no.

The "right price" starts with another premier first line center. If that's not coming back then its a no, barring a massive overpay.

Not enough for Eichel. Then again, this would shatter any chance for the Blues to resign Pietrangelo.

It would be a nice package for a player like ROR, not for a franchise center

Thats asking for nothing from the Blues lol. Heavy bias coming from you. Its Eichel coming back the other way, not some scrub 2nd line center

You can think how you like, but the Blues aren't doing that. And we already got ROR from Buffalo for much less.

Yeah and trading him for what he did is a fireable offense.

It's a huge return. Thomas is a 20-year-old rapidly growing into an all-star center that wins everywhere he goes, Dunn (23) is terrific two-way D-man who's an elite skater and surprisingly tough, a 2020 1st needs no explanation and Kostin is a B+ power forward prospect with great hands that is exempt from the expansion draft. On top of all that, the Sabres would gain a ton of cap space. You may not wish to make such a trade and that's fair enough, but it would be a massive return. It's certainly no ripoff package.

What a compelling rebuttal.

"/

NEWSFLASH: Considering their respective cap hits and ages, it can be argued that Eichel isn't worth giving up just Thomas.
