In all seriousness tho, it’s getting harder and harder to see this team make the playoffs. The literally cannot win and used up all their black magic in November.

For as bad as I feel though, if only been watching this team for three seasons. Can’t imagine how everyone who’s been watching for like 30 or even 10 seasons feels about this collapse

Same I’m a pretty recent fan, it’s been like 5 years. Some of the strongest people in the world must be long term isles fans

(It's so early in the morning out here, the first time I tried this, I screwed up.)

Now you know why you can call me "Lucky." I got see the beginnings from 1976 right through the glory years but had to leave NY for LA the same year Mike Bossy's bad back forced him to retire. I tried to hang on as an Islander fan for about a decade but then had to give it up and adopt my new area's teams, so I got to see the once-mighty Ducks' only Cup and then the Kings' two Cups. I think I'm the luckiest hockey fan in the universe.

Tavares is on pace for 34 goals this season and he makes 11 mill. He’s still a very good player, but I can tell the honeymoon is over when half your fanbase on twitter are calling tavares the worst captain in leafs history and that they should take the C away and give it to Matthews.
